One excellent way of improving search engine rankings is by obtaining one way links. You could buy these but if you get found out by Google they could penalise you for this. Writing articles are fantastic in creating one way links to any website. These can be added to the body of the article, but better still it can be inserted in the resource box. Google and other search engines index these and the sites that hold your article are seen as linking to yours.

The solution to this is something called article spinning. By this I mean generating many different versions of the same article. These are brilliant in fooling the search engines in believing that they have indexed a totally different article, which therefore mean that they don't believe it is duplicate content, which can only be good for you.

You can now create thousand of versions of the same article through article spinning. These can then be sent out to many different websites. But the great thing about this is that the search engines believe that the article is not duplicated and adds them to the list of their results, which rewards you in terms of one way links.

But you also need to work on improving the on page aspects of your website. As you add articles to the directories, then add the same article to your website. This would show the search engines that you are working on your website constantly and looking to update it.

Another area which is being looked at is social bookmarking. Now you are thinking that you don't want to sign up to all these networks and individually add your content. But there are software packages which can help you with this. You could also view what others are doing in your niche. This would be help as you could replicate the strategies which they are using.

Using the above can only be used effectively over a long period of time. By doing this you would recieve greater credit for the work you do as your page rank and traffic increases over time.
